Detailed site surveys

We offer detailed surveys to our clients. This can be really good if you have a large stone property and want to keep track of the condition of your property/maintain your stonework.

We recommend that large stone properties are surveyed at least ones a year, as every winter when frost/ice has been present there is a possibility this could have damaged your stone work.

Our surveys can be used for a number of reasons;

• Intending to sell your property. A detailed survey of your stone property can be useful in the sell of your property as your making sure the valued price is accurate and everything taken into account.
• Intending to purchase a property. If you are intending to purchase a property and want to get the condition of the stonework checked so you know what you are purchasing.
• Have a budget for property maintenance but want to prioritize what is urgent and what is not. If you have a detailed survey of your property, listing all the defects and area’s that should/need to be addressed in order of minor – major. You will easily be able to manage a budget by getting estimates provided for the area’s you would like to address.
• Highlight emerging problems. Emerging Problems that can’t always be seen unless close up and personal can be identified early, before they progress into larger/more expensive problems.
• No nasty surprises. Having regular surveys carried on your property will mean you have no unexpected surprises. You will know all the issues you should be addressing and where on the building it is situated.

Types of surveys we offer;

• Ground level survey – verbal = starting at £150 +VAT
• Ground level survey – with detailed written document. = starting at £310+VAT
• Ladder access survey- Verbal = starting at £247+VAT
• Ladder access survey – with detailed written document. = Starting at £407 +VAT
• Scaffolding access survey – with detailed written document = Starting at £407 + VAT (+scaffolding costs)
• Cherry picker access survey – with detailed written document = starting at £415 + VAT (+cost of cherry picker hire)
